About a place….

Sometimes when I look at a piece of work I can see the material I’ve used embedded in the clay body or on the surface and know exactly where it came from.

I feel compelled to return the finished piece to the origins of the material if possible and photograph it or capture the movement of it in water if it came from the sea, ocean, river or lake.
